She previously worked for the Daytona Beach News-Journal and the Battle Creek Enquirer in Michigan. Annie is an avid runner and reader. She loves exploring all of Florida’s natural wonders.

Political consultant Eric Foglesong was charged with three felonies for his alleged role in Florida's "ghost" candidate campaign in 2020. He's accused of falsifying reports to the state on behalf of Jestine Iannotti, who filed to run for a highly competitive state Senate race but did not campaign. Those reports concealed the origins of $1,200 cash Foglesong gave to Iannotti to cover the filing fees for her campaign.
