Police from Miramar Police Department and Miami-Dade Police Department work at the intersection of Miramar Parkway and Flamingo Road in 2020 after a jewelry store in Coral Gables was robbed, the suspects hijacked a UPS truck and its drive, and the suspects led police on a chase to Miramar. The four Miami-Dade County police officers charged with manslaughter in the 2019 death of a UPS driver could go on trial as early as February, according to a schedule proposed Monday by a Broward Judge.
