No

Have you been a plaintiff or defendant in a civil action, including bankruptcy or foreclosure or had a restraining order issued against you? If so, please explain.
Yes. Bankruptcy, like many Americans, I too felt the impact from COVID-19 as an employee and as a small business owner, who business was just about to hosted one of the biggest HBCU Junior Football Showcase in Florida 2019/2020.

Why are you running for this office and what specifically makes you a better candidate than your opponent(s)?
To bring a fresh perspective and a strong dedicated leadership to District 99, to address the true needs and concerns of our district. What makes me a better candidate than my opponent, my deep ties to District 99 and my proven track record of advocacy and effective leadership, taught me the important of resilience and determination, prepared me to face challenges head-on, persist through adversity, and remain steadfast in my commitment to serve the voters of District 99. Unlike my opponent, who is disconnected from district 99 and a liar!

What are the three most important issues currently facing your legislative district?
1. Rent Increases 2. Property Taxes and Homeowner Insurance 3. Crime

After the 2024 session, Gov. Ron DeSantis vetoed all money for arts and cultural programs and projects, estimated at $32 million, to more than 600 organizations. Do you agree or disagree with this veto and why?
Would like to learn more about why he vetoed all the money for these programs and projects.

In the 2024 session, the Legislature passed a major change to Florida’s ethics law (SB7014) requiring a complainant to have personal knowledge of the facts of a case. Would you have voted for or against this law and why?
Need more clarity on the bill and sponsor or lobbyist.

In the 2024 case, the Legislature passed a law (HB 1365) that prohibits homeless people from sleeping in public spaces. Would you have voted for or against this law and why?
Voting for it. Every municipal needs to create a safe designated area for our homeless population.

Should state abortion laws include exceptions for rape, incest or human trafficking, and why?
Yes, state abortion laws should exceptions. These exceptions are essential to protect the mental well-being of the individuals who have endured that traumatic and life-altering experience.

Do you support or oppose a proposed “open carry” or “constitutional carry” law for Florida and why?
I support it, but with the proper background checks.

What additional measures do you support to address Florida’s property insurance crisis?
Push for reforms in the insurance rate review process to ensure transparency and fairness in rate-setting.

Cultural diversity. District 99 is home to a large various ethnic background.
