Pitmaster and executive chef Orelle Young — who has appeared on Food Network Canada’s “FireMasters” and the Belgian reality series “Mijn Pop-Up Restaurant” — has come up with a Dad Box for Father’s Day. Available for dine-in and takeout through Sunday, June 16, the Dad Box ($50) is filled with a quarter-pound of brisket, a quarter-pound of ribs, a half-hicken, JC Potter Sausage, and two Shiner Bock beers or soft drinks.

This fine-dining boutique steakhouse inside The Diplomat Beach Resort will celebrate Father’s Day all that weekend, June 14-16. Treat Dad to what the hotel on the sands of Hollywood Beach is calling The Sire, a drink made with the Diplomat’s Resort Weller Reserve Select Barrel, Demerara Syrup and Turkish Tobacco Bitters for $38. The special offer also features a house-made Chocolate Cigar created by the Diplomat Pastry Team. You can also get The Sire at The Hotel Bar.

This restaurant on the New River in Himmarshee Village will actually celebrate dads on Saturday, June 15, with a four-course BBQ dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. and presented by Southern Barbecue Boys and Ron Dimpflmaier of Big Green Egg. Tickets cost $90 for adults and $42 for children age 12 and younger.
- Courses include: Blackened Shrimp Skewers, Beer Brat Sliders with Sauteed Onions, New York Strip with Asiago Red Potatoes and Grilled Broccolini, and Grilled Cinnamon with Sugar Pineapples over Vanilla Ice Cream.
- Optional bourbon flight add-on costs $25.
- Kids’ menu includes: Grilled Chicken Skewers, Meatball Sliders, Half Steak with Asiago Red Potatoes and Grilled Broccolini, as well as the same dessert course.
Arc Broward

Arc Broward, which helps people with disabilities and life challenges, has the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen for job training, where they will host a four-course Burger Bash on Saturday, June 15, starting at 7 p.m. in honor of Father’s Day. Tickets are $89 and $99 a person.
The menu includes:
- First Course — Sesame-marinated Salmon Burger with Grilled Onions and spicy Asian Mango Slaw on a house-made Sesame Bun
- Second Course — Brisket and Boston Butt on a Hawaiian Roll with Special Sauce and Shoestring Potatoes
- Third Course — Smash Burger with grass-fed Beef, Marinated and Caramelized Onions, Shitake and Portobello Mushrooms, Provolone Cheese and Black Truffle Aioli on a Brioche Bun, served with Sidewinders fries

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice

On Sunday, June 16, all Jeremiah’s Italian Ice shops will give dad a Father’s Day card that will entitle him to a free Flavorite on his next visit. For the uninitiated, a Flavorite is an Italian ice with soft ice cream and “layer-ins” such as Oreo crumbles, Hershey’s mini chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles and cookie butter crumbles.

The food hall will celebrate on Sunday, June 16, with Beer, BBQ, Beats, Bingo from noon to 10 p.m. Admission is free. You may purchase food from Grandview’s artisanal vendors without any ticket requirement. Other highlights will include:

- Free axe-throwing at Game of Axes mobile unit from 4 to 6 p.m.

Spady Cultural Heritage Museum

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum is providing a different option for Father’s Day with a family-style meal as part of its program “Juneteenth Fathers of Freedom: An Evening of Dinner and Jazz.” The event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 16 (doors open at 5:30 p.m.), at The Fieldhouse at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach, and will feature a concert from the Jesse Jones Jr. Quartet and Melton Mustafa Jr. Tickets are $100 per person.
Chef Winston Williams will prepare the food (with the theme of “Picnic in the Caribbean”), which includes Cucumber Citrus Salad, Sweet Plantains, Mixed Vegetable Medley, Pigeon Peas and Rice, Grilled Tamarind Jerk Chicken, Broiled Snapper with Creole Sauce or Citrus Chablis Sauce and, for dessert, Johnny Cake. The beer sponsor will be Barrel of Monks Brewing.
Masala Mantra Indian Cuisine

Throughout their special day, all fathers can enjoy complimentary craft cocktails with the purchase of any menu item from this restaurant that redefines India’s street foods (the drinks cost $13 for other adults). This brewery in West Palm Beach’s Warehouse District will offer dads a Beer Flight Package that comes with a commemorative glass for $16 a person. For an additional $15 a person, you can have food delivered to Steam Horse Brewing to go along with your beer flight. The meals all come from Clare Ave Grille and include a side of fries. The Melting Pot Restaurant

Starting on Father’s Day, these restaurants will offer the Forever Fondue Endless Entrée promotion, with a three-course fondue experience that includes a salad, endless entrée (choose between Land & Sea, Classic or Steak Lovers) and a dessert of chocolate fondue for $51 (price varies by location). Forever Fondue kicks off Sunday, June 16, then runs Monday through Thursday evenings until Aug. 1.
Ten Palms at Gulfstream Park

If your dad is a horse-racing fan, then he might like the Father’s Day Brunch menu at Ten Palms. He can wager from his seat and take in the expansive view of Gulfstream Park’s racetrack (or just watch real-time simulcasts from all over the world). The service is $75 a person and includes endless seafood buffet, salads, carving stations and desserts paired with a glass of complimentary beer or mimosa for all fathers.
Blackbird Modern Asian

Blackbird’s executive chef Tim Nickey and his team are paying homage to dads and their love of grilling by offering a special Wagyu Smoked Brisket served with Chinese Pancakes, Lettuce Cups, Beijing Garnish and Homemade Hoisin Barbecue Sauce on a bamboo platter ($48 for two people).
