Sheriff Gregory Tony’s political action committee moved swiftly to take advantage of Vice President Kamala Harris’ surging popularity to tout himself in a mailer to voters in the Aug. 20 Democratic primary. It’s notable for the speed and ironic, given the source some of the money that paid for it.
