While the origin of the Cuban sandwich is as layered as the ingredients, there’s no debate about its status as a staple on menus everywhere.

But chefs aren’t afraid to put their own twist on the iconic sandwich.
So, as National Cuban Sandwich Day approaches on Aug. 23, we’re posing a “pressing” question to you, our readers, for the next item in the Best of South Florida Dining series:
Who makes the best Cuban sandwich in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties?
